Fibre Install

I get absolutely terrible copper wire internet speeds in my area. I average about 2.5mbps real world speeds (on a good day).

 

I have been speaking to friends and they said they asked virgin to install fibre in the local area and then went ahead and did it. Is this true? or do I have to just wait and pray that my address is on the list of fibre installations in the future?

It should show on the postcode/address checker on their website if connectivity is available to you.
