FTTP AC Adapter

Hi All

My AC adapter for the Omnibox (I think that's what they are called) that's outside the house for the FTTP install has decided to stop working, the power light doesn't come on and obviously the Hub isn't getting a signal as a result.

I put in a call to Customer Services yesterday to get this resolved, unfortunately I'm looking at a 9 day wait for an engineer, which is pretty frustrating considering its a 30 second job to replace.

Anyone know if you can buy these AC adapters from anywhere? I've searched but not had any joy.

Also if there are any helpful VM staff here that can help, I'd be most grateful.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: FTTP AC Adapter

They're a pretty specific item and to be fair, it may not be the AC adapter.

The plug itself powers an ONU via a reverse power unit. Which means it could be the reverse power splitter or the ONU that's at fault, so buying one could be a waste of money. If you could find one.

Re: FTTP AC Adapter

It's a 12V supply which backpowers the ONU. It's a long shot but can you try another socket?
