External green cabling

I have a large green cable fully exposed in my garden and a brown cable box attached to my property ive purchased which needs removing. My builder cannot continue with the drive. I have no intention of using virgin media. How do I go about getting this removed? Such a hazard leaving it as it is. Time is money and work will halt because of this. Thanks

EDIT goslow is not so slow today 😂

This is a tricky one for which VM doesn't seem to have any published policy. They do seem to do this if it is an actual H&S issue though.

You could actually just rip it all out and skip it - often recommended on here - but it may make you very unpopular with your neighbours if you disturb their connection in doing that.

I would give them a reasonable time (your call!) to do this properly before you take action.

A VM person should respond on here soon

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thanks.. I appreciate the replies. There is a box directly outside my property on the path which I assume is where its come from. Ive attached s couple of pictures if that helps.
