Exposed cabling

Would anyone be able to assist with how I fix this? I noticed today, the outside box is broken and wires are exposed. The front won't clip back on and I'm not sure how long it's been like this.

Engineer turned up early this morning and has installed a new wall box and its all now neat and tidy. Thanks
