Error code c501

I have this error code coming up and can't get to the home screen, tried resetting and turning it off and on... No change... Still won't work...HELP!!!

Have you checked service status for your area to see if there is any area issues?

Also I would suggest turning the box off using the switch at the back, unplug the HDMI cable and leave the box off for a few min. When you switch it back on do not plug in the HDMI, leave your box on for about ~30min and plug the HDMI back in. See i this helps.

Alternatively if you are able to gain access to the Settings menu, you can perform a restart on the TiVo box there which sometimes can help.
