My engineer is due to arrive between 1-6pm today, i have been told off 2 seperate people he wont be arriving until 7pm, that is not acceptable as i have took the afternoon off work, what can be done?

Who's told you that the tech will be late?

Has the engineer contacted you directly?

No i was told off 2 seperate telephone operators, the engineer has not yet contacted at all today

Sortry to hear of the possible late engineer arrival.

Are you able to provide us with an update to the arrival of the engineer?

Sadly on occasions previous tech appointments can run over, and whats-more, the are also other issues to combat - such as traffic and adverse weather conditions
