Re: Damage to BT extensions during installation

If the VM termination box is opposite the omni box then surely it should be on the right of the BT socket.

Re: Damage to BT extensions during installation

I don't seem to be making myself clear.  The engineer drilled through the wall right next to the BT socket.  I believe that in the process, he has inadvertently damaged the cabling in the wall, as the additional sockets in my house were working the evening before his visit and they are not working now.

Re: Damage to BT extensions during installation

i believe you may be correct in your assumptions, however, and it's a big however, proving that to be the case may be difficult 2 weeks down the line from the installation.

Re: Damage to BT extensions during installation

The faceplate on the BT master pulls off on your model by squeezing the sides. I'm guessing all that's happened is the extensions are no longer clicked into the removable faceplate.

They usually go Blue wire into 2

Blue white wire into 5

^ This, the outside and inside pictures make no sense. As pointed out above surely the Virgin socket should be to the right of the BT socket inside the house/room?
