Re: Customer care conversation

It’s up to you. It’s always best to record any conversations with VM about your package, saves any arguments afterwards. You should also for legal reasons advise them that the conversation is being recorded.

Re: Customer care conversation

VM record all calls (and supposedly in-store data)  If you ask for a record of all data that VM hold on you, including voice data, they'll send you it on a disk.

If you want that, then look for contact details here.

I do believe the wording on the automated message says that calls "may" be recorded, its not guaranteed, you're still better off doing it yourself and informing them that its being recorded in order to comply with the GDPR 😛

Re: Customer care conversation

They dont record all calls, just some.

So a GPDR request MAY turn up the call, or may not. Worth a pop anyway.

Re: Customer care conversation

When I got something different to what was agreed on the phone I formally requested a copy of the call.  Didn't say why, just asked for a copy.

I didn't get the disk but I did get a very helpful call from the complaints dept.who agreed that there had been a mistake and promptly put it right.
