Connecting second box

Hi, 

I am trying to connect my second box upstairs but there is a double wire coming out of the wall which was previously installed by virgin and only one can be inserted into the connector and into the tv. Thus, it’s telling me to check my cables, can anyone advise please?

If both wires are the same diameter & are coax cables then they are part of a Sky or Freesat installation & not Virgin cabling. As per above, a photo would help to confirm.
