Hi-we currently have our WiFi hub in one room and our TiVo box/telly in another. Our internet connection isn’t very good so would like to move the internet hub to the same room as the telly which is where we tend to use the WiFi. How do we connect it to the same connection in the virgin media white box on the wall? Sorry not very technical! Do we need something called a splitter? Any help much appreciated! Thank you.
If you want to move the Hub you need the VM engineer to do it - they have the correct cables, connectors, splitters etc., and will reset the signal levels on the Hub. It will cost £99. There would be other possible solutions as well such as improving the wifi signal in the TV room. Using "Powerline Adapters" to connect the Hub to the TV should also sort that particular issue out.

Thank you for your reply. I didn’t realise it would cost that much! I am sure when we moved in and had an engineer come there was something in the wall box inside that would let you put 2 cables in but he took it with him!
