I need to scan one room for poor connection. The Connect app needed to reconnect to my Hub 4.
once it logged in a box comes up saying I have to optimize and combine my 2.4 and 5.0 into one SSID - however I need them separate as some connections I have don’t cope with a mixed one SSID name.
the app will not let me close or get out of the optimize box - I can’t do anything else.
can anyone help?

If you need to use spilt SSIDs, there is no point in using the VM Connect app or the VM Pods.
VM Pods do not support split SSID.
Buy a Wi-Fi Mesh or couple of retail Wi-Fi Repeaters these do support split SSID and will work with any ISP.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear of any connection issues. To use the Connect App, both the 2.4 and 5G bands must be optimised together. This is because of the Intelligent WiFi in the router and if a Pod was needed, it's one of the requirements for it to work.
