Hello all, tried setting up my hub three today using the chord that was already in the wall. Socket looks like this:
The isolator is removable and looks like this
My red power cord also has a stuck out pin, so they don't connect. Nor does it connect the isolator that has a stuck out pin. I purchased these connectors with female ends
But when I connect I still get the green flashing light and no wifi so maybe it's the connectors fault? But then how do I connect it! Am I even using the right wall socket? I have an NTL phone line next to it and a BT open reach 5G plug in kitchen that I also suspect is no good. Please advise asap!!!! I have a hub three.

Nope now activated and still flashing green. When trying to connect virgin cannot diagnose my problem, but says is the coaxial cable firmly attached which it really is!

Yeah the quick install assumes that the virgin media cabling coming into your house from the previous install is still intact. There are engineers working in the street cabinets all the time so chances are the coaxial cable been disconnected from the street cabinet at some point and needs reconnecting from that end.
