Cant find my virgin wall socket to plug in my new box

This is all we have and i cant figure out how to plug the round cable into it

Without photos, I'm guessing you have checked outside for the VM brown box and traced the cable inside.  Some properties do not have a wall box socket, but just a cable.  If the quick start cable does not fit the end of the incoming cable connector, you may need one of these Tristar Data cable coupler | DIY at B&Q
