Cannot find wall socket

I cannot find the virgin wallsocket in the whole flat, I believe I will need an engineer to sort it out for me? Thanks

Checked the forum the NTL box in my bedroom can be used for internet and I can connect to the internet now. 

But I have an issue on the NTL box in the living room (which I want to put it there in the first place), there are no isolator plugged out. I unscrewed it and there is a male isolator inside the box.  Do I need to call engineer to fix it or I can buy an adaptor myself?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

This seems like the previous occupants had the connection for the Virgin box in the bedroom, so you'll need a tech visit.
