Cancel or Downgrade Package Deal

So towards the end of the month my bills will be increased, I am looking to either cancel or downgrade/maintain similar price range, however when I call they say they are too busy, and the online live chat is non existent, so here I am looking for some help

any help appreciated

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the forums, it's great to have you here. 

We are so sorry that you have struggled to reach us, we are very busy at the moment but we are doing all we can to speak to everyone in the queues. 

We do not handle cancellations or package changes via the forums but if you can call us on 150/0345 454 1111 as close to 8am when we open as possible, the queues are usually far quieter.

Have you tried via https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media ?

Click on Upgrade Package. There may be an offer there, and also possibly a link to the online chat messenger service.
