Can’t find virgin plug socket

Hello,

I’ve just moved into a new flat and the landlord and virgin confirmed that Virgin was confused, it is the broadband that everyone uses here. I’ve just gone to set up and I cannot find a Virgin media plug socket anywhere, I can only find the attached. Also not sure what this big white box on with virgin media is. Can anyone help???
