Just joined Virgin Media and I'm wondering can I pay credit onto my account?

For example I live in a shared house and my housemates want to pay me their full years share of the subscription upfront. Can I put this full amount onto my Virgin Media account so I don't have to keep it in my bank?

You can make a payment online but I think it had to be the bill amount - best to call them? Not sure if it's possible as they want monthly DD - I just get an account put the money in there and then let it come out every month?

Your account can go into credit and, if you want to pay by DD, this credit would be used to pay the monthly bill until used up when a DD would be used.
