I just got my virgin media broadband box and the cable won’t fit into my account wall socket. Do I have to buy a specialised wall socket from virgin media? Please help.

You would not have been supplied with a QuickStart unless the property previously had VM. There should be a wall mounted box somewhere inside that has an F socket on it. Also there will be an external, often brown, omnibox. If the previous owners remove the internal VM box then call the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday

Dumb question - Are you sure it's a VM wall socket?

Unscrew the end, then plug in the provided cable, or just screw in the pictured cable to the back of the HUB.

Thank you. I found the right socket hiding somewhere in the home.

Thanks very much
