Cable my street

Hi, every street in my local area has virgin fibre except mine! It’s as if they ran out of cable and gave up before finishing the road.

When will Virgin be back to finish the job?

my postcode isTN25 4QP, it’s a road in ashford just off trinity road. All other streets off trinity road have fibre.

Thanks for the PM's and my apologies it's take a few days to get back to you.

In answer to your questions I can only arrange for a Spotter if there is a network adjacent to the property- usually within 10-20 feet. at most.

This would allow the spotters to look at alternative routing for the cabling to the property from an existing network.

For you and the property it would require completely new cabling to be laid.

Currently we are showing this needs to be referred via our Cable My Street form on the postcode checker.

Have you filled this in yet?

no problem and sorry to chase, i'm just very keen to have Virgin available!

Yes i;ve filled out the cable my street form and know a couple of other houses have as well.

What else can we do?

Can you let me know when you filled this in 🙂

I have no problems with people chasing, Id rather they did! It's rather a busy old place on the forums so these reminders do help.

If I know when you filled it in I may be able to email another team to see if they can advise further if there are potentially any plans.

I don't always get a reply as sometimes it's a no so sometimes I just don't hear back but more often than not I do get a reply to advise if it is or isn't in any current plans.

completed it a couple of times over the last 2 years so certainly over a month.

Nope that's cool Chris so long as I know roughly when it was last filled in and if it was first done at least 2 years back that's good to know I can now flag this to the Nex teams and see if we can get some further info from them for you.

They usually come back within a week to me Chris just fyi
