Cable installation

VM is being fitted in my house on 7th May bu the cable has not been run to the property yet and my appointment only shows the full installation on the7th.

Read a few other posts about delays in this section of the forum, that may condition your expectations.   And if you've arranged for an existing ISP to disconnect on the 7th, then I'd get in touch and ask to extend for a month.

Typically the cable is only brought to the house shortly before installation, and eight days is too early.

Welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear you have some concerns over your installation. There should be outside cable works to be completed before full install, if there is not cabling installed already. We can check this for you if you like. Please join me on private message so I can go through security and located the account.
