That’s not a VM connection, it’s a standard TV aerial socket. If you don’t have a VM socket, try tracing the wires from the external,box, then call:

pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post your issue on the forums.

As @Tudor sadvised that is an aerial connector not a Virgin Media connection, have you tried to follow the wires to locate the VM socket or have you called into the team to get this resolved?

Have located the other connection but it still isn't working so have called the installation team
