I have been on here before with no help at all I’m looking for information on how I get a tv cable removed from my attic as I only have and want internet. There is no facility to email virgin media team. I also have this main box in my back garden and would like to see it relocated.  I would like to see the written permission for the installation of this box the house was owned by my dad and previous was my grandfather. It was installed when my grandfather was here but he has been dead for 20 years so it could have been telewest that he gave permission regarding it. I’m a customer but inherited this mess when I bought the house and my dad never gave the tenants permission to get install from virgin. It’s not in title deeds etc regarding the main cable box. Regardless I’m looking for the mess to be tidied up as the fence is to come down and back garden re landscaped. VM team please DM so we can get this sorted ASAP.

Hi guys currently in discussions with the VM team about paying £25 for them to do something about the back box. Let’s give them a chance.

Just an update it was passed to area manager 3 days ago. No update so far awaiting PM from Virgin Media Forum Admin.

Good Afternoon @Bigryan85, I've been issued with an update on this and will drop you a private message

Kindest regards,

David_Bn

An engineer is coming out on Wednesday to inspect the situation. Will keep you all updated.

Thank @Bigryan85 please do let us know how things are after the visit.

Thank you again.

Just an update a virgin team came to inspect yesterday and said I would receive a call by Friday. To confirm I’ve received the call a day earlier and work to remove and box off cables will commence on Wednesday 26th January at 9am

Hi just to confirm that the virgin media team came out yesterday to tidy up the cable situation. What a massive improvement. I did my part by cleaning up the back of the fence that goes onto the school 20 bags of earth and leaves to the recycle centre. Anyway here is the end result. To confirm the 4 of them were great and we’re done and dusted in 2 hours. Credit where credit is due.

That looks a proper job. Credit to the staff who did it,  and to you for your persistence.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Now I would like a virgin forum advisor to answer this question. I’m supporting 9 out of the 10 lines from that box in my property. To my understanding there is no agreement with virgin or any provider before this. So does that mean that virgin should be contacting me to discuss the terms with me considering I’m hosting 10 potential customers??? A PM would be appreciated from the admin on this matter or a phone call from a billing manager. Thank you.

That's a very fair question.
