Broken external cable box

I have recently noticed that my external cable box is broken and the cables are exposed.  I have tried ringing virgin to report this, but none of the options apply and I just get cut off, I have tried using live chat but it keeps saying unavailable.

You can get through on the phone to customer services, but you have to persist. VM staff will pick up your post, but it can take a few days before they get to it. 


There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't and F people out of 10 who do not understand hexadecimal

I have a similar problem and have had the same problems contacting customer services. The only difference being my box is brown and not grey.

Could you put somebody in touch with me too?

I understand that you have a broken cable box, unfortunately, for security purposes we are unable to schedule a call back on our end. You can call our Cable team on 0345 454 1111 and our team will be happy to assist you with your concern.

 

Alternatively, if you are available to chat, we can do it via online chat and our Web chat team will be able check your account, run some tests and possibly book an engineer for you.
