I've just moved into a new flat and was provided with a broadband kit. I've tried to set it up however it doesn't seem to be working (shows a red light). I've tried to contact Virgin Media for help, however, I don't have the account number and I'm not sure what else to do (hence why I can't create an account either).

You will need to contact whoever supplied you with the VM kit.

Did you sign up for an account yourself or is this though someone else, if it is, then Tudor is right, you'd need to contact whoever is the account holder.
