I've just joined the virgin media community and looking forward to set it all up and finally get some decent internet speed.
Now come to my question, I've gone for self set up option however I have had a quick look at the outside broadband box where all the cable goes to, and it looks really old, just wondering if its going to work still. Gonna receive my broadband package on Saturday. I have only lived in the current house just under 2 years so looks like previous owners where on ntl or something, who ever installed the cables not done a great job. Gonna attached some pictures for reference.
Would this still be usuable and get good signal through it ?
Ps: it doesn't let me post pictures as it's over the size limit. Will upload some when I have time to do it
Pictures are now visible, it looks really dodgy how they installed the box on the wall, cables coming up through the tube. Surely that's not rain proof. God know know how long that's been like that. Just hoping that it still works. Oh well I ll find out Saturday when I pick the broadband pack off local pick up point
