Re: Broadband Problems

For now the best thing is to move this thread to a more appropriate part of the forum.  So, I will do that now.

Re: Broadband Problems

Thanks for joining in to try and help.

As a matter of interest do the list of errors on the Downstream table have any significance? I've just updated it and more have appeared as below:

Re: Broadband Problems

No, i don't believe they do.  If you saw the number of post Rs errors shown on my diagnostic page you would be horrified.   Yet my connection works without issue.  So in your case something else looks to be the causeA VM staff member will get to this in a week or so and may be able to offer additional advice.

Re: Broadband Problems

Hi Chaserfree,

The stats you've posted look ok to me, I've tried to check everything from this end but your hub is offline so couldn't perform any tests. I can at least confirm there are no area faults open that are causing this.

Are you only seeing this over a wired connection or do you get the same drop outs when connected via ethernet cable?

Re: Broadband Problems

Hi,

Thanks for looking.

I’m away from home at present which is why my hub is turned off. I get the problem both on my desk top which is connected by an Ethernet cable and my I-pad which is wireless.

I’ll be back late tomorrow if you could possibly check again sometime after that.

Re: Broadband Problems

Hi,

I don't know if you have tweaked something or it's coincidence but things are much better since my return this week.

Just occasionally have to click a link more than once to get a response but otherwise, so far, nothing like the problems I had.

Thanks
