Bill before internet even working

Hello,

I had the quick start pack delivered on August 11th, moved into my new house on August 17th and the internet did not work and so a technician is coming tomorrow August 24th to have a look.

On the phone to virgin media I was told I wouldn’t be charged until I’m actually connected to the internet, however today I’ve received a bill stating I’m being charged from the 11th August.

This seems hardly fair when I’m not using the internet yet through a technical issue.

your start getting billed from the point you activate the kit, not the date it's delivered.
so the 17th is the date you should have been billed from - assuming that's the date you activated the hub.

however, you will need to call CS for any billing issues. they can't be dealt with here.
