Address change- WIFI Activation

Hey,

ive recently changed address, my virgin was due to be activated in 21/12 but I’ve still got no internet access.

I was sent the quick start kit and advised to take the router from my old house, followed all the steps and I’ve had no luck connecting.

tried to call twice yesterday and twice today, sat on hold for over an hour the first three times before the line disconnected me. Eventually spoke to an agent who promised a supervisor would call me back within 45 mins, this was around 6 hours ago.

I’m struggling to comprehend how such a simple change is causing so many issues.

tried call, chat and email with no luck so hopefully my issue can get sorted here.

so close to just cancelling my package.

Re: Address change- WIFI Activation

When you move address, Virgin start a new account and that seems to cause problems, especially if there was an old account for the previous residents at that address.  Yes, it's real nuisance.

Has you called the activation number, 0800 953 9500 ?

Re: Address change- WIFI Activation

turn off the power to everything.

ring the activation number.

or

if you have a mobile account linked you might have to text "GO" for them to activate the line.
