Activation fee?

have been charged £20 set up fee when moving to my new home when i was told it was free because im staying with VM

there is a £20 fee for transferring services from one address to another - i always thought it was a transfer fee not an activation fee but if all you have been charged is £20 total then i think its correct whatever its called

however if you have been charged £40 then afaik thats wrong

all that said if you were told there were no charges and you have that in a mail then you need to contact them

dial 150 or 0345 454 1111 and follow the prompts to - 'thinking of leaving us' - then "technical issues" - dont worry about that they do much more - open 8am -10pm 7 days a week - should take you to a UK call centre
