You may have noticed a message on your TV screen informing you of upcoming changes to some of our TV channels. Read on for more information.

On Thursday 26th September 2019, we’ll be removing the standard definition (SD) versions of some of our channels. From this date, the following channels are going to be removed:-

  • TLC SD (167)
  • Quest SD (172)
  • Discovery Channel SD (250)
  • Animal Planet SD (256)
  • Eurosport 1 SD (523)
  • Eurosport 2 SD (524)

These channels will be replaced by the high definition (HD) version which means you won’t miss out on any of your favourite shows. If you currently enjoy the HD version of these channels, these will be changing slightly at the same time:

  • TLC HD (167 - currently 168)
  • Quest HD (172 - currently 217)
  • Discovery Channel HD (250 - currently 251)
  • Animal Planet HD (256 - currently 257)
  • Eurosport 1 HD (521)
  • Eurosport 2 HD (522)

In certain cases, the SD and HD channels are currently included within separate TV packages (e.g. TLC SD is currently included in the Mix TV package, whereas TLC HD is available in the Full House TV package). Where this is the case, the HD channel will replace the SD channel in the current package. This means you'll still continue to enjoy all the great programming on that channel after the change.
