thank you for getting in touch, I am sorry to see you have had trouble with your wireless connection. 

 

I have taken a look and things seem to be ok from this side. 

 

If you are having trouble with IOS devices it may help to take a look at iOS update and WiFi

 

If you are having trouble on all devices let me know and we can look into other options.

Hi Anyone else still having trouble with this thread. 

 

If you are using IOS and having issues please try iOS update and WiFi

 

If you are having issues with other devices or the information in the link does not resolve the issue let us know and we will investigate further.

Thanks Emma. You are right that it is the iOS devices that will no longer hold connection to the super hub 2. The link you sent me to do a fix, that method  has been done over and over and several times whilst on the phone to the technical people  .I have spent hours on the phone trying to solve this. At least three of the off shore technicians I spoke to said the upgrade in hub would probably solve the problems and that's ok -  but on principle I didn't think that I should have to pay £25 to update an ageing router. The router still belongs to VM and there is no set up cost to replace a router ( which is presumably sent out for self installation ).

Hi Brian25a,

still the same problem for us (just over three weeks).

i spoke with Apple and tried the “reset network settings” but made no difference.

To be honest I have dispaired of VM off shore help. I feel I should ring them but know they are going to tell me everything is fine!!!!!!!!!!!!

so much so I am looking into leaving. There are a number of companies “Truespeed/Gigaclear who offer 200mbps who are in my area. If this doesn’t develop then I am considering BT. Admittedly slower 67mbps but if it works it will be so much better than 200 that doesn’t.

Hope VM will offer some additional help.

Right now if £25 for a new router would guarantee the WiFi working effectively I would begrudgingly pay it just so I can work and my family can use social media again.....

Hi Emma,

problem solved.

Final contact with VM, spoke with a Welshman on your help desk. He sent an engineer the following day who installed a super hub 3. Ever since normal service has been resumed.

Great service just a shame this could not have happened previously!!

Hi I’m having this problem too. 

Only resolves by going between 5 and 2g

followed advice for iOS update and WiFi problems, no help

Have had my iPad checked by Apple twice and clean install of iOS, no fault found

Same issue here with wifi dropping out and having to reset every 15min or so. using wifi at work and it is fine.
