Virgin cuts out on my tv almost every time i switch it on, meaning i have the tedious job of resetting and putting in the looong password if i want access to netflix or youtube. Very annoying!

That’s most likely the TV not remembering the WiFi SSID and password. I don’t think it’s a VM problem. It’s always best to use an Ethernet cable to connect the TV to the VM hub.
