increasingly unstable remote desktop connection today

My citrix connection to work has been freezing every minute or two - and frequently doesn't recover, forcing me to terminate the session and log in again. It's been getting worse and worse all day. Pingplotter shows whats going on:

What makes you believe it’s your connection?

Re: increasingly unstable remote desktop connection today

The pingplotter image shows the packet drops and where they are happening. It's not the wifi or the server at the other end, it's out there on Virgin's network.

It has happened before like this.

The problem seems to have gone away finally. For now.

Re: increasingly unstable remote desktop connection today

Hi ralphclark

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. I am sorry for the delayed reply and the broadband issues.

I've checked today and some of the power levels are out of spec. Upon running a fault diagnostic, it's asking me to ask you can you check all wiring and cables are finger tight?

Let me know how you get on please as if it's not sorted after that it'll need a technician visit.

Kind regards,
