ok just got new hub 3 changed every thing over to the new hub, problem with my smart plugs cant connect to the new hub is it ok to turn off 5ghz and set them up on 2.4ghz then turn 5ghz back on after i have connected the plugs

I have a similar issue I think... Have separated SSID in order to set up device that only works on 2.4 but rest if the network then performs poorly. I'm wondering whether or not to turn smart optimisation back on...

I didn’t. But I have turned it back on as I figured it would u do what I did. Not had any issues

I had them separated and have had this for years. On Tuesday, my 2.4ghz stopped working.
My wife called virgin today and they said you can only have them combined now. Which is a nightmare as my work computer keeps dropping out.
I will be calling them back - but you find a fix let me know.
