Hi can anyone let me know if i can get my hub 4 upgraded to a hub 5 please for free. I have just upgraded from volt 500 to 1 gig fibre today. I would like the latest hub because of wifi 6 etc. Thanks for any help.

Have you considered getting your own better quality wifi6 router and using the Hub in modem mode?

Better solution long term.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Yeah but cant afford at the moment to be honest. Would rather have the hub 5 for free seen as I have upgraded to 1 gig. Thanks.

How much does 1Gb set you back each month then a one off payment for a better router?

VM were only giving Hub5's to "new" 1GB customers (to manage stocks).  As you got a fully working Hub4 then there is little chance of a free upgrade until that policy ends.

If your current Hub were to become faulty you may be able to sweet-talk a friendly Tech into replacing it - but no guarantees.
