frequent broadband error 84020200 Lost MDD Timeout faults

frequent  (2 -3 times / day) drop of broadband service with power level jumping to over 6db/mv and upto 85 mill pre rs errors in 1 day on 1 channel

Any suggestions ( all internal connections checked)?

 post up your Hub/network connection details and someone will check to see if there is a problem there.  In your browser’s URL box type in  http://192.168.0.1  (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) and hit return.   On the page [there is no need to login] click on the “router status” icon at top right or the text at bottom middle - of first page up (depending on which hub you have) and then copy/paste 3 sets of data onto here - the downstream, upstream, &  network logs.  Don't worry about the formatting it can be easily read, but try to avoid using screen shots & don’t include personal data or mac addresses - blank them out.

It looks like an intermittent SNR problem.

You will need to contact VM for resolution, either by waiting here about a week until a VM Forum Team Member picks up the thread, or give them a call on 150 from a VM line or 0345 454 1111 for a quicker response.

As per griffin's advice.  What did VM say when you called in a potential "noise on your line" problem ?

Checking your service from this end all looks to be in good shape currently, if you're still experiencing drop outs could you please confirm the date and time so we can compare with our network data for the same period.
