hello everybody, 

since about one week ago my broadband started to disconnect frequently. I tried to reset everything to factory settings but di not work. I do not understand if is my problem or it is from virgin media.

Thanks for getting back in touch. I've had a look at your account and I can't see any issues from our end.

 

Can I confirm if you have completed a pinhole reset on your Hub since these issues started again?

The odd T3 is normal - lots in a short time (1-2 days isn't) - so yours are pretty normal.

So just to check...

Are the issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection related?

What are the Hub lights showing/doing when this happens?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Sorry to piggyback on the same thread but this seems to be a common issue. 

I've had this for about a year now and it's just getting silly. 

The router is in modem mode, it's out in the open it's not overheating, we've tried the pinhole reset. 

Superhub - Replaced
Internal Cabling - Replaced
Internal / External terminations - Replaced
Drop from cabinet to property - Replaced
Tap Point in the cabinet - Moved twice 
3dB Attenuator - Installed - No different
5dB Attenuator - installed (3db removed) no different 

And thanks to the engineers who cut the cable out, we now rely on the superhub for the incoming phone line. No good when it's going through T3 time out and ranging every couple of hours.  3 members of the household work from home and rely on a stable internet connection. We would hotspot our phone and work from there but Virgin / EE mast in the area hasn't been replaced for even longer - that's another issue for another time.
