can anyone help with Mac and Hub 3 ?

been getting issues connecting to my hub 3 from imac

it won't connect at all although its right next to me, I have other devices connected to it with no issues.

I've just did a reset on router and it still won't connect. I even did a fresh instal on my Mac last week after being on phone to apple.

Mac will let me connect to my iPhone and tether.

can anyone help

thanks

Why not use an Ethernet cable?

Re: can anyone help with Mac and Hub 3 ?

because its a wireless network, and its previously been fine, all of a sudden its now not working.

when I say right next to me, I mean a few metres away say 5 or 6 or so ( not the other end of the house)

What "year" or model is the iMac ? Does it have 5GHz "capability" ?

Do you (or a friend) have another iDevice (iPhone?) you can test on your 5GHz network ? That will prove if its your network or the iMac that needs the fix.

Re: can anyone help with Mac and Hub 3 ?

Hi Brizo1411, thanks for getting in touch.

Does a factory-reset of the 'hub help?

With the Hub turned on, push in the pinhole button with the end of a paperclip until you feel it at the stop point and hold for a timed 60 seconds. Bear in mind your Hub settings and your passwords/passphrase for both the WiFi networks & settings will revert to the two printed on the Hub sticker on its base/side/card.

Tom
