my broadband has been dropping every 3-4 minutes today for the past 6 hours. no physical changes to any kit, router has been rebooted however all devices lose internet connection (word and wifi). pls help

can someone please respond, i can’t get any help otherwise and have lost half a day of work with this issue and now the family are home they want to stream and online game and this service is unbearable. thanks

thanks for replying, it has remained intermittent since then until i had to contact the help desk again yesterday, which required a further router reset. the person on the call said we had 11 disconnects in that time which is painful to say the least as the consistently dropping connection has bricked my wifi extenders which have required a rebuild. and we work from home.
line is being monitored again however has not been a great experience (i have only been a virgin customer for 2 months and our prior supplier had a reliable - but slower - service)

You do need a tech visit as some of your downstream channels are out of spec.
