Wifi and Twitter

Hello. Since yesterday  I have been unable to watch any Twitter videos via the Virgin Media Wifi.

This happens with Mac, iPhone and PC although the content works fine using 4G. 

I haven't changed any settings on the Wifi. 

I'd be very grateful for any help or advice.

Add video.twimg.com to the allowed websites list in the websafe settings.

CHeck your parental controls settings in your MyVirgineMedia account on the web!

Someone else was having this problem!

Thank you for this. Unfortunately, turning off the Parental Controls isn't an option with young children in the house.

I wonder why this has suddenly become an issue. Twitter wasn't blocked before yesterday...

The person earlier turned them off and then back on again! - Twitter videos then worked!

Give it a shot!

As the VM parental controls are so flaky it would be best probably to sign up to OpenDNS or similar and configure your own filtering rules!

Sadly, the problem was only fixed while the filter was turned off. Videos stopped working as soon as the Controls were back on. Thanks again.

Hello. I've just had a response from Virgin Media - via Twitter, ironically.

They're aware of the issue and working on it apparently.

So, all good.

Thank you so much. Particularly as Virgin Media have yet to do anything about this. Followed your instructions and Twitter now works as normal...
