Wifi Pod

ALH

One room in the house is only getting 50% of the wifi signal in the next room and I would like to improve this.  I have read that there is a 'Pod' which could improve things.  I'm on a pretty basic plan and wondewred if it is possible to get one of these pods.

Any help appreciatedby an old man!

Many thanks,

Anthony

You might to try calling your request for a pod in to VM as you might have more luck than with the website btw.

See https://www.virginmedia.com/shop/broadband/intelligent-wifi-pods-existing-customer

If you are on a basic plan there may be a charge. However if you or someone in your house has an O2 mobile contract you could get it free via Volt benefits https://www.virginmedia.com/virgin-media-o2

If you can't do Volt then tbh you are better off in the long run getting a good router eg Asus and running the Hub in modem mode.

Thanks very much for your reply.  It looks as if they have stopped taking registrations for the time being.  Will look at the router option. 👍
