WiFi not working on and off for 3wks

Evening all. Just wondering if anyone has any advice regarding a different router to use? Virgin clearly can’t be bothered to fix mine. Been waiting 3 weeks to get a resolution to the problem. Umpteen calls WhatsApp messages and general **bleep** from virgin. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Any better with the hub in modem mode and get a better wireless router with 1Gb ports?

Hi Montiban66, thanks for the message. I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the WiFI connection. Would you be able to confirm the following: 

 

  • How many devices are connected?
  • Does this happen when you only connect one device?
  • Is there an error message showing? 
  • Does rebooting the box change anything?
  • Which hub are you currently using? 
  • How is the connection on a wired connection?
