Recently moved house, signed up to virgin fibre as it was the best deal around our area, The WiFi works fantastic in some parts of the house but not others. Any reason for this or any way I could get it work around the whole house. Didn't seem to have this issue with my previous supplier.
The hub isn’t renowned for its wireless capabilities. If you are on the ultimate oomph or gig packages then you can request a free WiFi pod which will extend the signal to the farther reaches of your house..
If you aren’t, then they cost £5 per month to rent and (imho) you’re better off investing in your own better WiFi solution.
I think with the proliferation of the IoT and so many wireless devices in homes now - your own router makes the most sense - then, if you change providers, all you have to do is connect their modem to your router and everything will work!
