WiFi connected no internet

Hi,

For several months I’ve had a problem where WiFi is connected (have used connect app which tells me I have a good signal) but no internet.

we’ve upgraded the WiFi speed and added a virgin booster but still having big problems. I suspect the hub is faulty.

I’m currently using mobile data to do my work as the broadband is so dodgy!

would someone get in touch to help sort it out please?

Re: WiFi connected no internet

Do a 60 second pinhole reset on the hub

Re: WiFi connected no internet

Unfortunately the 60s reset on the hub didn’t work. I can get back on my work VPN network drives again but still no internet on my laptop 😞

Re: WiFi connected no internet

Does it work using an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi?

Re: WiFi connected no internet

Unfortunately not, still get ‘no internet’ through the Ethernet cable too

Re: WiFi connected no internet

So is the connection down altogether?

You mentioned a VPN previously - is this still connecting?

Do you get connectivity when not on the VPN?
