WiFi checking in house

Hi, how to best check WiFi in house as installed yesterday.

 

Ring doorbell says poor WiFi even its in next room.

(My old router was in the room above. New router in room below.... so can not see the issue as same area even closer??)

Can I ask how to check WiFi black spots??

The VM "Connect" App has that function. Try it first - but be aware - it is flaky - scan this forum for examples.

Then you could also use a wifi analyser App (or Airport Utility on iOS) to check the signal strengths af the various SSID's that are detectable at the areas where there are issues

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
