WiFi calling - more wigan packet loss

caloth
Tuning in

Further to the myriad of reports in wigan area already regarding packet loss, i would like it reported that when wifi calling is enabled on mobile phones the packet loss also causes the call to phase in and out.

The moment you disable wifi, forcing the phone off the VM network & only using the cellular network, any phasing in and out / voice loss dissapears and call quality is restored.

This needs to be addressed ASAP and will be effecting many more people than have reported so far, due to the way they use the internet / knowledge of issues.

The VM service in Wigan isn't fit for purpose right now.

Can confirm this is an issue too. When I called into retentions the other day, it was impossible to talk to anyone. I then disabled wifi, and it worked fine (Virgin Mobile sim).
