Wi-fi keeps disconnecting from mobile phones (Vodafone and O2).

VIRGIN TECH SUPPORT:

Just what it says in the headline. For a few months now, once we've connected to the wi-fi using our mobiles, it cuts out. This can be in as little time as 30 seconds to 10 minutes, it's completely unstable. This never used to happen. I've wired up the Mac and Xbox so we don't have the problem there, but on our mobiles it's getting ridiculous and costing us a lot through data usage. I've seen that other users have had this problem too, and needed a new modem, is that the solution?

Also, why don't you have Chat support to sort these problems? Or am I missing it?

Thanks for your post, and sorry to hear you're having a few issues connecting on your mobile devices.

 

I've run a health check on the account, while there are no issues flagging up.

 

When was the last time you rebooted your hub? Can you please do this and let me know if there is any improvement?
