I have been having trouble with my WiFi for several months now.
Just found this and wondering if its this causing the problems.

Need a lot more information than that. Is it only on WiFi or Ethernet cable connected devices as well? If so, please post you up/downstream stats and network log.

It seems to mainly be the wifi.
cannot get it in the kitchen 8ft away or any room upstairs.
