Web - port 80 - suddenly closed

I run a webserver on the machine here, which is convenient for getting files off.

Suddenly port 80 is closed.  Is that a network change or something random at the superhub?

Re: Web - port 80 - suddenly closed

If using router mode is the LAN IP of the server match that of the port forwarding?

If you Wireshark port 80 on the server do you see the SYN incoming?

Can you test in modem mode with a new WAN IP on the server only.

Re: Web - port 80 - suddenly closed

Can't conveniently turn it into a modem, it is in use as router.  This might change!

After digging out the passwords, I find all port forwarding is blank.  Now reinstating it.

Any reason that should suddenly have gone away - is it an indication of impending router/modem/hub failure?

Hi amidgley,

Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to hear you've been having issues with Port 80.

This is something that I'd like to look into and to possibly run some tests with you.

Keep your eyes peeled for the purple envelope in the top right hand corner of your screen for a PM from me
