I have just taken out a subscription for broadband 360 with TV and phone, and I am very unhappy that the modem uses poor encryption to secure Wi-Fi. How do I turn off Wi-Fi on my super hub or alternatively replace hub with a secure hub?
The encryption used for Wi-Fi on the hub is TKIP which has been deprecated for at least 8 years and can be easily broken into. At a minimum AES encryption should be used. Or even better WPA3.

Why don't you log in and change it to AES?

Hi jb66,
Thank you for the link on how to login in to the modem. This solved the problem. Thank you!
I tried to find this on information on the main virginmedia website and the installation guide, but couldn't find it. The only thing I found was an app that helps to check signal strength in different rooms etc...
Thank you
